About David Peña

David is the founder of Dove Mountain Golf Academy. Before devoting his full time work to Dove Mountain Golf academy, David was a golf professional at Ventana Canyon Golf  and Racquet Club, El Conquistador Country Club, and recently at The Highlands at Dove Mountain. 

A native of Tucson, David's passion for instruction came about by growing up with family and friends who dedicated their lives to teaching and coaching individuals through education and sports. His teaching philosophy is "There is always a way to find their golf swing, play their golf game, and enjoy the journey all at the same time."
